What is pozole?
Pozole is onne of the most famous and popular dishes in the country, mainly prepared for national holidays in September. From the Nahuatl pozolli, from tlapozonalli, meaning foamy, pozole is a broth made from cacahuazintle corn kernels.
History:
Original from the Bajío (Guanajuato, Jalisco and Michoacán), they eat it red, with a guajillo or white chili sauce, always accompanied by lettuce and radishes. And historically, they say it comes from a dish that Emperor Moctezuma ate.
Why do we think is top 4?
We put Pozole in our top since it is a typical dish all Mexicans have tried in their life, full of flavor and combination of things that gives an incredible sense to your mouth, also for being prepared with our most consumed ingredient in the country, a type of corn.
